Namoro Football Academy is off to a flying start, marking a fantastic beginning to the season with notable achievements in the MTN FA Cup and league competitions.


The Asokwa-based football academy showcased their prowess by advancing to the Round of 32 in the MTN FA Cup, a remarkable feat achieved through the elimination of King Faisal in the Round of 64.


Impressively, Namoro Football Academy has commenced the season on an unbeaten note, securing victories in two league games with scores of 3-1 and 4-2.


The standout performances of young talents Sanja (15) and Alex Messi (17) have added an extra layer of excitement to Namoro Football Academy’s early success.


Sanja, a midfielder and a student at Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School (OKESS), earned the Man of the Match award in the first league game against Thunderbolt, showcasing remarkable skills at the tender age of 15.


During the second league game against Rainbow, Sanja stole the spotlight with a breathtaking 40-yard screamer, contributing significantly to the team’s 4-2 victory.


Alex Messi, at just 17 years old, left his mark by scoring in the 3-1 win against Thunderbolt and continued to shine in the MTN FA Cup penalty win over King Faisal.


Alex Messi’s outstanding contributions earned him the Promising Star award after the FA Cup clash, highlighting his promising potential as a rising star in Namoro Football Academy.
