Nations FC’s head coach, Kassim Ocansey Mingle, has candidly expressed his dissatisfaction following his team’s failure to secure all three points against the formidable Asante Kotoko over the weekend.
The Eagles managed to secure a late penalty, resulting in a 2-2 draw against the Porcupine Warriors in a Ghana Premier League match-day 6 clash at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Both of the home side’s goals were netted by Amidou Diarra in the second half, while Steven Mukwala and Michael Kyei Dwamena found the net for Kotoko.
During a post-match interview, the seasoned coach conveyed his deep sadness, believing that his team should have emerged victorious, given their overall superiority during the game. He conveyed to StarTimes:
“I’m very sad because we should have won the game hands down. Our boys lost concentration and they punished us with that goal.”
Nations FC is set to face Medeama SC in Tarkwa on Wednesday for an outstanding GPL week 6 fixture.
