Nations Football Club is on the verge of securing the services of Bechem United’s centre-back, Samuel Osei Kuffuor, in a move that could bring an end to the transfer saga in the coming weeks.
According to Kickgh.com, talks between the two clubs have reached an advanced stage, with the Abrankese lads eager to conclude the transfer deal and welcome Kuffuor to their ranks.
The 22-year-old defender will join Nations FC as a replacement for Michael Awuah Mensah, who is close to joining Hearts of Oak.
Kuffuor has been identified as a perfect addition to strengthen Bechem United’s defence after they finished seventh in the just-ended Premier League season. The centre-back has been in fine form for the Hunters, and his departure would be a significant blow to the team.
However, Kickgh.com can confirm that Nations FC have already agreed personal terms with Kuffuor, paving the way for him to join his former coach Kasim Mingle at the club. Kuffuor joined Bechem United from Young Vipers in 2022 on a three-year deal and has entered his final season with the Hunters.
The transfer deal is expected to be concluded in the coming weeks, subject to clearance from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and other relevant authorities. If successful, Kuffuor will become Nations FC’s second major signing of the transfer window, following the arrival of [name] from [club].
