Kasim Ocansey Mingle, the new coach of Nations FC, is optimistic about his team’s potential to make a significant impact in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
The Kumasi-based club earned promotion to the top-flight after a successful campaign in the Division One League, where they emerged as winners in Zone Two.
In a conversation with the club’s media, the highly-rated tactician expressed his confidence in Nations FC’s ability to leave a mark in the Ghanaian top-flight. He assured that they would deliver entertaining football, bringing joy to the Ghanaian fans.
Mingle stated, “We are new entrance in the Premiership but we are going to make an impact in the league. we are going to see some good football and Ghanaian fans will enjoy it, I’m capable of doing it and I will do it at Nations FC,” he said.
Having departed Bechem United at the conclusion of the previous season, Mingle chose to join the Ghana Premier League newcomers in preparation for the 2023/24 season. He had spent three successful years with Bechem United since taking charge in March 2021.
In the wake of Mingle’s departure, the 2016 FA Cup champions, Bechem United, have appointed Kobi Mensah as his replacement. Mingle had led the club to a commendable third-place finish in the GPL last season.
