Nations Football Club’s Head Coach, Coach Kassim Mingle, is optimistic that his team will soon hit their stride.
The highly regarded tactician assumed his role at the club at the end of the previous season, following several successful years with Bechem United.
In an interview with Peace FM ahead of the upcoming match against Asante Kotoko this weekend, Coach Kassim Mingle acknowledged the challenges his team has faced.
He explained that the slow start to the league season was expected, especially when assembling a new team.
“I know they will improve. We’ve played five matches, but there are more matches ahead of us. Building a new team can be quite challenging. They will have their ups and downs,” Coach Kassim Mingle stated.
He went on to say, “I believe that once they find their rhythm, they will take off, so let’s keep pushing.”
This season, Nations FC has secured only one victory in five matches and currently hovers just above the relegation zone.
The match between Nations FC and Asante Kotoko is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 22, with a 3 p.m. kickoff at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
