Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a 1-0 defeat to Karela United FC at the CAM Park in matchday 3 of the Normalisation Committee Special Competition to record another bragging rights over the Rainbow colours having walloed them 3-0 at the same venue last season.
Solomon Sarfo Taylor’s first half strike was enough to seal victory for the
Ayinase based club.
The Phobains have thus lost two consecutive games in the competition after being beaten 1-0 by Elmina Sharks in their midweek fixture at the Nduom Stadium last Wednesday.
Hearts started the game on a very high not in attempt to register an early goal but failed on countless occasions to put the ball at the back of the net as the home side took the lead after Solomon Sarfo Taylor had headed home a free kick taken from the left in the first half.
