Communications Director Henry Asante Twum has revealed that a new Black Stars head coach is likely to be appointed later in January.

The position has been vacant since the exit of Otto Addo at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Many have wondered who will take the role, with Chris Hughton deemed huge favorite for the job. Asante Twum has given a timeline.
“I think it will be this month. From the conversations going on it is very likely a new head coach of the Black Stars will be appointed this month”
“There will be an ExCo meeting soon and everything will be finalized there” he told Asempa FM.
