Newcastle United are now part of the growing list of Premier League clubs interested in signing Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo from AFC Bournemouth this summer.
According to The Independent, top English sides like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all keeping a close eye on the Bournemouth forward, who has had an impressive season. Semenyo has scored 10 goals and provided four assists, playing a key role in Bournemouth’s strong performance in the league.
The 25-year-old’s speed, strength, and goal-scoring ability have made him one of the most exciting players to watch this season. His talent has not gone unnoticed, and several clubs are now considering a move for him to boost their attacking power.
Bournemouth are expected to sell three of their top players this summer: Antoine Semenyo, defender Dean Huijsen, and full-back Milos Kerkez. Together, the trio could bring in around £150 million. The club is open to offers, especially with so much interest coming from big teams.
Arsenal see Semenyo as a good backup for Bukayo Saka and a player who can bring more variety in attack. Liverpool, who have struggled with injuries and inconsistent form in their front line, are also watching him closely. Manchester United, looking to rebuild after a tough season, believe Semenyo could strengthen their squad on the wings.
With Bournemouth seemingly ready to listen to offers, a summer move for Antoine Semenyo is looking more and more likely.
