Ghanaian forward Nicholas Gyan has been named as the new captain of Tanzanian outfit Singida Big Stars.
Gyan joined Singida in June this year as a free agent and he has now been made the captain of the side.
The Ghanaian forward together with Rwanda’s Meddie Kagere are the two most experienced players in the team as they previously played for Simba SC.
Gyan is expected to play a key role as Singida hopes to finish in the top half.
