Black Galaxies head coach Annor Walker believes that his team will ‘kill’ the game against Nigeria on Sunday.
The two teams will face off in the CHAN qualifiers where Ghana aim to move one step closer to qualifying for the competition.
The team came back to Ghana on Thursday after camping in Austria.
Walker is confident that his team can get the job done.
“Nigeria is not an easy game which we are all aware of. After beating Benin, we started training seriously in connection with the Nigerians,” he said.
Luckily we had the opportunity to travel to Austria to go and play a tournament there which we played the highest club that is even sponsoring the world cup this year, Qatar. What I saw made me very happy. Definitely, we’re going to kill the game like we did against Benin.”
“For now, no injuries. It was Evans Owusu who had an injury and was not able to play in Austria but he is okay now. The doctors and physios have worked on him. He’s okay now. For now, I don’t have injuries.”
The Black Galaxies haven’t participated in the CHAN since 2014.
