Nigeria legend Samson Siasia has raised question marks on Augustine Eguavoen’s 25-man squad for the world cup play off against Ghana this month.
Eguavoen handed an invite to two new players namely Akinwumi Amoo and Ademola Lookman and Siasia insists this is not the time to call new players as the game against Ghana is crucial.
“You need to play people that understand themselves if you bring new ones it becomes difficult for them to understand themselves and play the partner you want to play,” he said on Brila FM.
“For me it’s not the right decision to bring new players, you are better off with the ones you know already that have been playing together and understand themselves because you have three days to practice before you go to Ghana. So for me this is not the right list.“
The Black Stars will host the Siper Eagles will hold on 25th March in Cape Coast while the reverse fixture will take place four days later in Abuja four days later.
