In the UEFA under-16 youth development tournament held in Serbia, Ghana’s Male U-17 team, the Black Starlets, emerged victorious over Spain with a score of 3-2.
Despite conceding a goal early in the game, the Black Starlets managed to overturn the result, with Great Corinthians forward Benjamin Tsivano scoring two goals and Peter Hammond adding another.
However, two Black Starlets players were sent off during the second half, leaving the team with only nine players on the field. This victory marks Ghana’s second win in the tournament, following their 4-0 win against the host nation, Serbia, in their first game.
The team’s final match will take place on Tuesday, April 18, against Switzerland.
