Norwegian powerhouse Lillestrom SK have signed Ghanaian youngster Eric Taylor on an initial loan deal with an option to make the deal permanent.
The midfielder from Ghana was scouted by Lillestrom sports manager Simon Mesfin and coach Geir Bakke on their scouting trip to Nigeria before Christmas.
Taylor has impressed more and more and the young boy from New Life Academy in Ghana has been signed by the club on a short term.
Lillestrøm has also entered into an option agreement for the purchase of the young player after his loan spell.
– We’ve had Eric here since January 18th. He has spent time acclimatizing, and has grown more and more with each passing week. Eric is part of an academy with a future-oriented owner, and they have agreed on a loan agreement, initially for the rest of the year. It is a win-win situation for all parties. This gives Eric more time to show up, and we get more time to evaluate him, says Simon Mesfin.
The ball-safe midfielder was a big smile here in Marbella when it became clear that the transfer was in order.
