Former Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah has described himself as the best goalkeeper to play in the Ghana Premier League over the last decade.
The former Ghana Premier League and FA Cup winner believes his achievements and performances place him above every local goalkeeper in the past 10 years.
Attah played a key role in Hearts of Oak’s 2020/21 Ghana Premier League triumph, ending the club’s decade-long wait for the title. The towering shot-stopper also helped the Phobians secure the FA Cup and was crowned Goalkeeper of the Season after an outstanding campaign.
“ I am not bragging but on record in the last ten years there is no keeper, am not lying , I have won everything even Kotoko has never scored me before ”. the former Elimina sharks player said in an interview.
The former Elmina Sharks goalkeeper is currently serving as assistant goalkeepers’ trainer at newly promoted Port City FC, who recently secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
Attah was released by Hearts of Oak in 2024 following a dip in form. He later joined Port City in the Division One League before transitioning into coaching.
