Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has commended the new Board Chairman, Dr. Frank Awaah, for his proactive approach since taking office.
According to Ampofo Ankrah, Dr. Awaah has quickly made an impact, demonstrating a commitment to action and results. He said, “He’s hit the ground running and he’s an action man, which I like, you know, so you see less talk and more action, which basically is what we’re supposed to do.”
The NSA Director-General noted that having a board chairman who focuses on implementation rather than prolonged discussions is essential for the growth and development of sports in Ghana.
He emphasized that Dr. Awaah’s leadership style aligns well with the authority’s goals, encouraging efficiency and accountability within the organization.
Ampofo Ankrah expressed confidence that under Dr. Awaah’s chairmanship, the NSA will continue to make meaningful progress in advancing sports policies and programs across the country.
