Nsoatreman FC will face Algerian side CS Constantine in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The much-anticipated first-leg match is set to kick off at 15:00 GMT, as the Ghanaian club aims to advance to the group stage of the continental competition.
Having impressed in the first preliminary round with a commanding 4-0 aggregate victory over Elect-Sport FC, Nsoatreman FC is now poised for a tougher challenge against the more experienced CS Constantine. A win over the two legs would secure Nsoatreman FC’s place in the group phase for the first time in the club’s history.
The return leg is scheduled for 21st September 2024 in Algeria, where Nsoatreman FC will need to contend with a hostile crowd and potentially challenging weather conditions. Securing a strong result in the first leg at home will be crucial for their chances of progressing.
The stakes are high for Nsoatreman FC as they aim to make a significant impact in their quest to reach the CAF Confederation Cup group phase.
