The maiden edition of the Odos Cup 2026, a youth football tournament established to provide a clear pathway for emerging talents into the professional game, concluded in spectacular fashion in Sunyani, Bono Region, with Odos Athletic Football Club emerging as deserving champions.
Held from July 11–12, 2026, at the Sunyani Penkwasi Astro Turf, the two-day competition brought together eight of the region’s promising teams, offering a platform for young footballers to showcase their talent, determination, and potential.
The championship final delivered a thrilling spectacle. Odos Athletic goalkeeper Peter Baah Senior produced a defining moment by saving a crucial penalty, inspiring his side to seize control of the contest. Riding on that momentum, Odos Athletic netted two superb goals to secure a memorable victory and lift the inaugural Odos Cup trophy.
For his outstanding performances throughout the tournament, **Peter Baah Senior was deservedly named both Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Best Goalkeeper capping an exceptional campaign in which he played a pivotal role in his team’s triumph.
