Berekum Chelsea has made a significant coaching change by appointing the former coach of Accra Hearts of Oak as their new Head Coach.
The club had been without a permanent Head Coach since the departure of Coach Christopher Ennin after the first round of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Reports indicate that Berekum Chelsea has reached a one-year agreement with Samuel Boadu to assume the coaching role at the club.
Samuel Boadu, renowned for his coaching successes, notably led Accra Hearts of Oak to victory in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League and secured the MTN FA Cup in the 2021/22 Season.
Prior to his tenure at Hearts of Oak, Boadu served as the head coach of Medeama SC and also held coaching positions within the Ghana national youth teams, including the U-15 and U-20 teams.
With his wealth of experience and proven track record, Boadu is expected to lead Berekum Chelsea to success in the Ghana Premier League.
The club currently sits sixth on the league table with 30 points from 19 games played so far.
