Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of former Bofoakwa Tano captain Saaka Dauda on a three-year deal, worth GHc150,000.
The 24-year-old forward has been on the radar of the Porcupines since the end of the 2023/24 season, where he shone for the relegated Bofoakwa Tano.
Dauda has impressed with his versatility, able to play as a central striker or on the wing, and is expected to add depth and competition to Kotoko’s attacking options.
The Ghanaian international has signed a three-year contract with the Porcupines, keeping him at the club until 2027.
He was instrumental in Bofoakwa Tano’s campaign, scoring 8 goals, including a memorable strike against Hearts of Oak.
