Ghanaian central midfielder Lawrence Ofori has completed a move to Casa Pia after reaching a mutual contract termination with fellow Portuguese side Moreirense.
The 27-year-old joins as a free agent after making four Liga Portugal appearances this season, registering one assist, and is expected to strengthen Álvaro Pacheco’s midfield.
The Ghanaian international is reported to have had strong interest from Spanish side Real Mallorca, Lecce, and Athens but opted for Casa Pia.
Casa Pia are currently 16th in Liga Portugal and are doing everything possible to survive relegation and believes the capture of Ofori would help the club achieve that course.
