Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Enoch Morrison has made a surprise move to Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia FC, penning a two-year contract with the club.
Morrison, who was released by the Porcupine Warriors at the end of the 2023/24 season, joins the Kenyan giants as a free agent and is expected to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
The 28-year-old midfielder had been linked with a move to Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak, but a potential deal fell through, making his switch to Gor Mahia FC a significant move in his career.
Morrison completed his medical last week and is set to make his debut for the club in their CAF Champions League game against South Sudan side Al Merriekh Bentiu.
Morrison’s impressive performance in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League campaign had attracted interest from several clubs, but he has opted for a new challenge in Kenya.
The former King Faisal star is expected to play a key role for Gor Mahia FC in the upcoming season.
