Ghana forward Asumah Abubakar-Ankrah has joined Switzerland Super League side FC Luzern, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward has signed a two and a half years contract with the club after he was poached from FC Lugano.
Abubakar-Ankrah will play the second round of Swiss 2021-22 Super League season for the Blue and Whites outfit.
He previously played for SC Kriens in the Switzerland Division One League where he was an influential player before joining Lugano at the start of the season.
Abubakar-Ankrah, who represented Portugal at the junior level is still eligible to play for his home nation, Ghana.
During the 2021-22 first round in Switzerland, the Ghanaian forward scored three goals and provided two assists in 17 matches.
