Ghanaian attacker Sam Mensiro, has completed a transfer move to Swedish lower-tier side IFK Östersund.
Sam Mensiro parted ways with Östersunds FK earlier this month after being with the club for almost 11 seasons, has now switched camp to IFK Östersund.
“It feels great, I just want to play football and be happy,” Mensiro told Östersunds-Posten.
The 34-year-old Sam Mensiro was with ÖFK all the way from Division 2 to Allsvenskan under coach Graham Potter.
“It feels great, I just want to play football and be happy. Life is nothing if you are not happy. It will be very fun to play again, says Mensiro added.
“For me, it’s about playing football and I’m very happy to play matches again.
In total, Mensiro had more than 170 caps in Östersunds FK, where the club’s greatest achievement was the win against Arsenal in the Europa League.
The Ghanaian forward also had a season spell at Örebro SK also in Sweden.
