Sassuolo has rewarded the 18-year-old for his hard work in the youth setup and looks primed to make huge strides on the senior side. He has signed a three-year contract with the club.
The midfielder transferred to the Sassuolo youth team in 2018 from Giorgione Jun. and has since then worked his way up the ranks.
Kumi is an Italian citizen but can switch allegiance to play for Ghana in the future should he decide to do so. He features predominantly for Sassuolo’s U19 team.
