Jamal Amofa, a 26-year-old centre-back with both Ghanaian and Dutch heritage, has officially signed for SC Cambuur, a club in the Dutch Eerste Divisie (second tier).
Amofa joins Cambuur on a free transfer after parting ways with Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv. He becomes the fourth signing of the summer for Cambuur, as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
The defender has agreed to a two-year deal, bringing his solid experience and defensive qualities to the club. Known for his composure and physical presence at the back, Amofa is expected to play a key role as Cambuur aims for promotion.
This move also marks a return to Dutch football for the Netherlands-born Ghanaian, and fans will be watching closely to see how he performs.
