Asante Kotoko have appointed Burkinabe tactician, Seydou Zerbo as the new head coach of the club for the upcoming season.
The Porcupine Warriors were forced to make the decision on a head coach following the exit of Prosper Narteh Ogum, who led the side to a league title in the 2021/22 campaign.
The 59-year-old who goes by the nickname ‘Krol’, has signed a one-year deal with the Kumasi-based outfit with the option of another year.
Zerbo began his coaching career with Burkinabe side Rail Du Kadiogo, who will later face Kotoko in the CAF Champions League qualifiers.
He also managed the local Burkina Faso national team where he led them to the 2020 CHAN tournament. They were knocked out of the group stages.
