Former Black Stars captain and coach, James Kwasi Appiah has been officially unveiled as the new manager of the Sudanese national team.
The Asante Kotoko Technical Director will be assisted by former Techiman Eleven Wonders and Dreams FC coach, Ignatius Osei Fosu, while ex-Black Stars goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda, will serve as the goalkeeper’s trainer.
Kwasi Appiah, the first black coach to qualify the Black Stars to the FIFA World Cup signed a three-year deal with the Sudan Football Association to handle their national team.
Despite the details not announced, Kwasi Appiah according to reports will earn $50,000 as his monthly salary.
While working as the head coach or Sudan, Kwasi Appiah will continue in his role as the Technical Director of Asante Kotoko and an Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association.
