Odds Ballklubb, a Norwegian club, have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Abdul Mugeez Zakari from Israeli side Ashdod FC in the ongoing Summer transfer window.
Mugeez, 21, has joined the Norwegian side on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Sports manager of the club Morten Rønningen shared his excitement with the singing of the Ghanaian winger : ”This is a signing we are very pleased to have landed. Zakaria is a young player with qualities we want to have in our squad. It is both a major signing and investment for the club.”
Mugeez spent the last two years playing in the Israeli Premier League for FC Ashdod, where he scored 9 goals and provided three assists in 49 matches.
The former Dreams forward netted six times and delivered two assists in 29 appearances across all competitions for Ashdod last season.
He joins his compatriots Solomon Owusu and Leonard Owusu at the Norwegian club.
