Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade have announced the signing of Ghana international winger Osman Bukari in the ongoing transfer window.
Bukari has joined the club on a one-year loan with an option to buy and will wear the number 14 jersey.
Osman Bukari, a former Accra Lions player, ventured to Europe, specifically to the youth ranks of Anderlecht. He delivered stellar performances at Trenčín, where he recorded a total of 66 appearances along with 16 goals and 25 assists.
He then continued his career at Belgian Gent, where in 35 matches played he scored four goals and provided six assists. He wore the jersey of French Nantes, for whom he recorded 26 appearances and notched two goals and four assists.
Then in 2022, he arrived at Red Star, and for our club he played 91 matches and recorded 28 goals, among which the strike against Manchester City in the Champions League stands out in particular.
During two years at our club, Bukari won two doubles, and after leaving Red Star he played for Austin and Wigan Athletic.
Bukari will be hoping to rediscover his form in a big to make a return to the Black Stars team under current manager Carlos Queiroz.
