Villarreal CF has officially announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The club confirmed the agreement via social media, stating that the experienced midfielder will join the Yellow Submarine for the current campaign.
“Villarreal CF and @Thomaspartey22 have reached an agreement for the Ghanaian footballer to join the club for the 2025/26 season,” the statement read.
Partey is expected to begin training with the team tomorrow at the Ciudad Deportiva, the club’s official training complex.
The move marks a fresh chapter in the career of the former Atlético Madrid and Arsenal star, who brings top-level experience to Villarreal’s midfield as they prepare for the upcoming season.
