Samuel Otto has announced that old students will not be allowed free access to stadiums to disrupt activities during the upcoming Inter-School Games, as part of new security measures introduced by the Ashanti Regional Sports Federation.
The Chief Coordinator of the Ashanti Regional Sports Federation made this known while outlining enhanced safety arrangements ahead of the much-anticipated competition.
He emphasized that the decision is aimed at maintaining discipline, order, and a safe environment for participating students. According to him, “Old students will not get access to the stadiums to disturb the students. If you want, come and pay and be at the VIP to support your school.”
His remarks indicate that while alumni are welcome to support their former schools, they must follow the laid-down procedures, including purchasing tickets and sitting in designated areas.
The new measures are expected to reduce disturbances, prevent overcrowding, and ensure that the games are conducted smoothly without unnecessary interference.
Organizers believe the tightened security will help create a peaceful atmosphere, allowing students to focus fully on their performances throughout the competition.
