Both Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos are keen on signing RSC Anderlecht winger Francis Amuzu, according to reports in Belgium.
It is expected to be a busy few days for Forest as Steve Cooper looks to strengthen his squad ahead of Friday’s 11pm deadline.
The Reds have completed deals for five players so far this summer with Ola Aina, Anthony Elanga, Matt Turner, Gonzalo Montiel and Andrey Santos all joining the club.
But there could be some more new faces between now and the deadline. According to Le Soir, one of those could be Amuzu, although Forest will have to improve their offer should they wish to complete a deal.
The report says that both Forest and Olympiacos, who are also owned by Evangelos Marinakis, have made an ‘offer’ of €6 million (£5.2m) to Anderlecht for the 24-year-old, both of which have been rejected by the Belgian club.
Last season saw the winger make a total of 50 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing 12 assists. He has been linked with a move to Leeds United and Luton this summer, he has also previously been linked with Rangers.
