Ghanaian striker Kwame Poku has stated that his one-month salary in Algeria can easily sustain him for the whole year.
The young forward joined USM Algiers in 2020 where he has struggled for opportunities to shine.
But he has been left pleased with his wages.
“The kind of money they pay in Algeria as salaries is far different from that in the Ghana Premier League. One month salary in Algeria is enough to sustain you for the whole year,” he told Angel FM.
“There was a time where I hadn’t received salary in about five months and I was talking to a colleague about it. He said one month salary can sustain him for the whole year.”
Poku is in talks with Kotoko on a return to the club.
