Nigeria international striker Victor Osimhen is one of the key players of the Super Eagles expected to play a big part in the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying play off against Ghana later this month.
The first leg takes place in Ghana , at the Cape Coast stadium, on March 25th with the return leg happening four days later in Abuja.
But what is the current form of Osimhen?
The Napoli striker – who was ruled out of the 2022 AFCON in Cameroon due to a face injury he suffered at his club – has scored 11 goals plus 4 assists in 22 games this season for the Serie A outfit.
In his last three matches , Osimhen has not scored a goal but he is always a big goal threat throughout games.
The former Lille forward has 2 goals in his last 9 outings for Napoli since making an injury return. His overall numbers this season would definitely have gone up had he stayed fit.
