Orlando Pirates coach Mandila Ncikazi has hailed Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori following his penalty shootout exploits in the CAF Confederations Cup quarter finals game against Simba last Sunday.
Ofori saved a penalty and also converted the winning kick to send his club to the last four and his coach has praised him for his output.
“If I had a chance, Ofori would be the first one to take a penalty. He is a good penalty taker. I’ve never seen him miss in all my history. I’m even thinking of other penalty shootouts we didn’t win, if he took one maybe it would’ve been different, in hindsight. He’s a good penalty taker,” Ncikazi stated.
Ofori spent six months on the sidelines with a hand injury and he is gradually getting back to his nest after his return in March.
