An Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association, Dr Tony Aubynn, believes Borussia Dortmund assistant coach Otto Addo is currently the best choice for the Black Stars job.
Addo, a former Ghana international faces stiff competition from former Newcastle United manager Chris Hughton to take over the Black Stars coaching job following the sacking of Serbian manager Milovan Rajevac after Ghana shambolically exited the ongoing Afcon tournament in Cameroon.
Speaking on Accra-based Angle FM, Dr Aubynn argued that “Otoo Addo is the best choice now because he was the assistant for Milo and he has trained with the boys and they respect him so much,”
“He’s the right man for the job now, considering the fact that he’s also a former player” – He added.
Meanwhile, Christ Hughton who is reported to be government’s choice for the job have been in Ghana for some days and have held meetings with the father of Chelsea star Cullum Hudson-Odoi and the player himself over the possibility of a nationality switch.
