Ghanaian youngster Dominic Nsobila is dreaming about ending Ghana’s long wait for an appearance at the Olympic Games since theur last time in 2004.
The Accra Lions believes the current Black Meteors team can break the curse and qualify for the 2024 Olympic games which will take place in France.
Acording to him, the team is determined to qualify for the event for the first time in 20 years after missing four consecutive tournaments due to failure to qualify.
“The goal is to qualify for the Olympics because it’s been a long time since Ghana qualified. We have to qualify this time around but first of all, we have to go to the AFCON and get to the final and win the Cup and we are good to go,” Nsobila said.
Nsobila was part of the Ghana team that beat Algeria to qualify for the 2023 CAF U-23 Championship in Morocco in July.
