Ghana’s president H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has assured the Ghana Football Association of the government’s support ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar next month.
The first gentleman of the land says it is the bid of the governing New Patriotic Party to create the best conditions for Black Stars to excel at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.
‘Our bid is to create the best conditions for Black Stars to excel in Qatar”, he told GFA president Kurt Okraku on his visit to the Ghanaian leader.
Ghana will play European giants Portugal in the opening game of the tournament on November 24 in Group H.
The Black Stars team will fave Asians South Korea in Group H in their second group game of the tournament four days after battling Cristiano Ronaldo and his colleagues.
Ghana will be hoping for a revenge against South America giants Uruguay in the final group match of the FIFA Mundial after losing to Luis Suárez’s team on penalties after a bizarre end to the game in South Africa, 2010.
