Ghanaian giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC ex-striker Victor Aidoo has described the Ghana Premier League as a very competitive league.
The former Samartex FC attacker is convinced that the league is full of quality players which makes the league a very good one.
“Our league is very good and competitive” he said when asked about the state of the Ghana Premier League.
“The challenges we face in our league now is player influence. The leadership of the club’s controls coaches in terms of player selection and other so we are unable to see the good talents in Ghana.”
“Truth be told, the coaches are under pressure, I cannot pinpoint clubs but it always happens here”, he told Footballghana.
“Players who normally perform at training sometimes struggle to even make the matchday squad but you could see players who don’t train, yet make up the squad, it’s a clear indication of the influence I am talking about” he said.
