Ghanaian international Kwesi Appiah says he was sad after the Black Stars got out of the just ended World Cup in the Group stage.
The Colchester United forward revealed that he had so much hope in the team but it turned out to be a bit disappointment.
“Going into the last game against Uruguay, I was very confident that we will sail through. But what we played that day was far from a team which is competitive.” Appiah told Standard Gazzette
“I am still in contact with most of the players as they are my friends. I was so hurt by our output.”
Appiah was part of the Ghana Black Stars team which finished second in the 2015 AFCON under coach Avram Grant.
