Nsoatreman FC’s coach, Maxwell Konadu, has outlined his team’s objective for the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, emphasizing the importance of securing their place in the top flight.
The club from Nsoatre has had a strong start to the season and currently leads the domestic top-flight league table with 16 points. Under Konadu’s guidance, Nsoatreman FC defeated his former club, Asante Kotoko, to claim the top spot in the Ghana Premier League.
Despite their impressive performance, Konadu’s primary focus is on avoiding relegation by the end of the season. He explained, “Our aim is to stay in the GPL. Our owner and financier have stressed that we should make every effort to maintain our position in the league. Last season, our struggle to avoid relegation was a concern for him. So, our primary goal this season is to secure our place in the league, and with that, we will be satisfied.”
Nsoatreman FC will head to Accra to take on Great Olympics in the ninth week of the Ghana Premier League on Monday.
