English League 1 side Oxford United have retained teenager Gatlin O’ Donkor for the coming season.
The talented forward is among nine youth team players who have been given fresh scholarships as they continue their stay with the club.
O’Donkor, became the U’s youngest-ever player in the history of Oxford United to make his senior debut when he came off the bench against Forest Green Rovers in the Papa John’s Trophy last December at just 16 years and 55 days.
The English youngster of Ghanaian parentage went on to score in the penalty shootout in that game and he is his highly rated following his exploits with the Under 18’s.
He will have preseason with the Under 23’s this summer and play for them this coming season.
