Ghana will need Thomas Partey to perform well if the Black Stars are to win against Nigeria on Friday evening during the first leg of the FIFA World Cup play – off and this is according to former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu.
Badu who was part of the Black Stars team at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil honestly acknowledges the quality of the Super Eagles but believes Ghana will win the first leg if players like Arsenal midfielder Partey steps up to produce a dominant display.
“They have more quality than us. That is the truth but we will need Thomas Partey particularly to have a great game in order to win the game. He’s is one of our best players and we will need him much in the game” Badu said on Fox FM.
