Ghanaian forward Patrick Agyemang scored twice in the second half, leading Charlotte FC to a victory over Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer.
The US-born Ghanaian broke the deadlock with a flying header in the 56th minute and added his second goal seven minutes later with an impressive solo effort.
After a goalless first half, the 23-year-old found the back of the net with a header from a Jere Uronen cross, 11 minutes into the second half.
Seven minutes later, he received a long pass from Liel Abada, executed a quick stepover, and fired a shot past the Philadelphia goalkeeper from the edge of the box.
Agyemang was substituted for Iuri Tavares with 18 minutes remaining, ending his night as the Man of the Match.
His second goal against Philadelphia Union has been nominated for Goal of the Week.
The former RI Rams player now has five goals and two assists in 19 MLS matches this season, helping Charlotte FC climb to fourth in the Eastern Conference table.
