Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi played a key role in Beitar Jerusalem’s thrilling 3-2 comeback win against Maccabi Haifa in the Israeli Ligat Ha’Al on Tuesday.

Maccabi Haifa took the lead in the 21st minute with a goal from Dean David, but Twumasi responded 13 minutes later, scoring in the 34th minute to bring Beitar Jerusalem level at 1-1.

After halftime, Dean David struck again for Maccabi Haifa in the 50th minute, putting them ahead once more. However, Beitar Jerusalem kept pushing, and in the 71st minute, Abiezer Jeno scored the equalizer, keeping the match finely balanced.

Twumasi wasn’t finished yet. In the 76th minute, he provided a crucial assist for Timothy Muzie, who scored the winning goal to complete Beitar Jerusalem’s remarkable comeback.

Twumasi’s goal and assist were essential to the victory, earning Beitar Jerusalem three important points and solidifying his status as a vital player for the team this season.
