Ghanaian forward, Paul Ayongo scored his first goal of the season for Academico Viseu in the Portuguese second tier on Saturday against Benfica B and was adjudged Man-Of-The-Match after the game.
Ayongo’s 26th minute strike was enough to hand his team their first win of the season after six games in the Portugal Secunda Liga with a hard fought 1-0 victory on the road.
The Ghanaian has played two games for Viseu this season in the Portugal Secunda Liga and has a goal to his credit.
Due to his stallar display in the game on his first start for the Black and Whites, his team got their first win after five unsuccessful attempts and are on six points following three draws and a defeat.
