In the midst of the King Faisal versus Tamale City verdict, Alhaji Grusah, the controversial owner of King Faisal, has made explosive statements, adding fuel to the already heated situation.
The Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association recently rejected King Faisal’s appeal against the decision made by the Disciplinary Committee. This outcome has further jeopardized King Faisal’s chances of avoiding relegation from the top division.
In the wake of this setback, Alhaji Grusah’s patience and tolerance have reached their breaking point, prompting him to launch a scathing attack on the leadership of the GFA, headed by Kurt Okraku.
Alhaji Grusah has boldly accused officials within the Ghanaian football governing body of corruption and embezzlement. He asserts that there have been instances of money being misappropriated within the organization.
He further warned that if he is to lose his team, Kurt Okraku should also be prepared to face dire consequences.
“This GFA is corrupt, people have been stealing money. If I will lose my team, he [Kurt] will lose his team too,” he is quoted by Kumasi-based Luv FM.
Alhaji Grusah’s strong remarks reflect his frustration and discontent with the current state of affairs within the GFA, and he is making serious allegations that demand attention and investigation.
