This afternoon, the complete 25-man Black Stars squad arrived in Kumasi for their crucial back-to-back matches against Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The team will be staying at the Lancaster Hotel Kumasi, previously known as the Golden Tulip Hotel.
Prior to their departure on Tuesday afternoon, the team had a light training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, which was closely monitored by head coach Chris Hughton.
The Ghana Football Association has confirmed that the team will have their first training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Tuesday evening at 4:00 PM to intensify their preparations for the upcoming matches.
The Black Stars will play their first match against Angola in the first leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, March 23, while the reverse fixture is scheduled to take place in Luanda on March 27.
Ghana presently shares the top spot in Group E with four points from two games, following their 3-0 win over Madagascar and a 1-1 draw against the Central African Republic in June of last year.
