The Black Stars of Ghana wasted no time diving into their training routine in Ivory Coast on Wednesday, following their recent arrival in the country.
The team, led by Coach Chris Hughton and comprising 27 players, landed in Abidjan via Air Cote d’Ivoire, the official airline partner of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The squad includes notable players such as Andre Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, and Alexander Djiku.
They will undergo rigorous training sessions from Thursday to Saturday to fine-tune their preparations before their crucial Group B opener against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14.
The 2023 AFCON tournament is set to kick off on Saturday, January 13, marking the beginning of an exciting football spectacle in Ivory Coast.
