Highly-regarded goalkeeper Frederick Asare, representing Asante Kotoko, participated in the Black Stars’ inaugural training session in Morocco on Tuesday evening.
Asare is one of the two players selected from the local league to bolster the Black Stars squad for their upcoming fixtures during the March international break.
Following his arrival at the Black Stars camp on Tuesday, Asare swiftly integrated into the national team’s preparations in Marrakesh, actively engaging in the training session ahead of the anticipated international friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.
Asare joins Nurudeen Abdulai as the two representatives from the Ghana Premier League in the Black Stars squad for the March international break, showcasing the domestic league’s talent and contribution to the national team.
Ghana is slated to face Nigeria on Friday, March 22, in a highly-anticipated clash, followed by a fixture against Uganda on March 26.
